Mas du Roumias is an old Provencal farmhouse located off a quiet country road midway between the villages of Eyragues and Maillane, just 5 minutes north of Saint Remy de Provence.
The house is simply and comfortably furnished and fully equipped to cater for 12 people.

Table and chairs are provided for dining al fresco, and you can choose to soak up the sun or sit beneath the shade of the vines and a glorious plane tree. The garden is large and fully enclosed with many interesting trees and plants. Figs fresh from the tree are a must! As are the grapes straight from the vine – delicious! The 10m by 5m swimming pool has been built next to the old stables and there are many inflatables to use in the pool and sunloungers for relaxing and sunbathing. A back gate leads into our field beyond the garden. The immediate surrounding area consists mainly of agricultural smallholdings with many different orchards and beautifully neat fields growing a variety of vegetables. Tall fir trees act as wind breaks and the Alpilles can be seen in the distance. This is an ideal base for exploring one of France 's most beautiful regions - Avignon , Arles , Nimes , les Baux, the Camargue and the fabulous beaches on the south coast are all within easy driving distance. Le Mas du Roumias est une vieille ferme Provençale, un véritable Mas Provençal, situé sur une route de campagne entre les villages d'Eyragues et Maillane, juste à 5 minutes au nord de Saint Remy De Provence. La maison est confortablement équipee pour accueillir aisement jusqu'à 12 personnes. la cuisine est équipée d'une cuisinière à gaz, d'un micro-onde, d'un congélateur et d'un réfrigérateur, d'un lave-vaisselle et d'une cafatière un grand salon avec une mezzanine s'ouvrant sur les chambres à coucher une pièce de service avec une machine à laver 2 chambres avec lits-doubles (dont une avec une salle de douche indépendante) 2 chambres avec lits-jumeaux une grande salle de bain avec douche et WC séparés une douche avec WC une chambre au deuxième étage avec 4 lits simples le linge de maison est fourni (sauf les serviettes pour la piscine) une Radio/CD, une TV avec magnétoscope chauffage "central" une table de ping-pong, un jeu de flechettes, des boules de pétanque et d'autres jeux d'intérieur, des livres 4 bicyclettes piscine de 10m X 5 m un spacieux patio en L, avec un barbecue intégré La table et les chaises du jardin permettent de déjeuner et diner dehors à l'ombre des vignes ou des jolis arbres Le jardin est grand et entièrement cloturé avec beaucoup d'arbres différents. Les figues fraîches et les raisins sont délicieux ! La piscine de 10m sur 5m a été construite à côté des vieilles écuries et il y a de nombreux transats pour se détendre et bronzer tranquillement Une porte arrière mène dans notre champ au delà du jardin. Les abords immédiats sont principalement constitues de terrains agricoles avec différents vergers et des champs admirablement ordonnés où poussent différentes variétés de légumes. Les arbres et les haies cassent le vent Mistral et permettent même d'apercevoir la chaine des Alpilles au loin. C'est une base idéale pour explorer plusieures des plus belles régions de France, entre Avignon, Arles, Nîmes, les Baux, le Camargue et les plages fabuleuses de la côte d'Azur et du Var, toutes accessibles facilement en voiture.
Le village de Saint Remy lui-même est un grand village délicieux ; -)
